Bibra Lake is part of the larger Beeliar Regional Park, just off the Kwinana Freeway. The park is representative of the vegetation which once covered the Swan Coastal Plain, and as a result you will see wetlands, woodlands and grasslands on your ride plus you might be lucky enough to spot the local wildlife.
The path is dotted with rest areas, kids’ playgrounds, grassy areas and even viewing platforms stretching into the lake.
A lovely ride that will take you right back into nature.
Points of interest
- the lake was once an important source of sustenance and place of ceremony for the Nyungar people. Although not all artefacts are signposted, there is evidence of both Aboriginal and colonial habitation throughout the park.
